ক নম য় ১০ম চ য়ন স – The 10th China-South Asia Expo, alongside the 30th China Kunming Import and Export Fair-2026, commenced in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, on June 11. The event will continue until June 16, showcasing a wide array of products and services from across the region. This year, Bangladesh has been designated as the theme country, with 101 institutions and 175 representatives participating under the guidance of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the support of the Consulate General in Kunming.

Global Participation and Event Highlights

The expo will host 2,300 exhibitors from 68 countries, creating a vibrant platform for international trade. Bangladesh’s presence as the theme country will feature products from the textile, ready-made garments, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, handicrafts, jute goods, and leather sectors. The Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Centre will serve as the primary venue, drawing attention to the country’s diverse offerings.

On the second day of the expo, a dedicated Bangladesh Day event will take place, emphasizing cultural and economic ties. The opening ceremony will see the unveiling of Bangladesh’s pavilion and the main expo. Notable attendees include the Governor of Yunnan and representatives from other nations.
